Its loud, its proud, it sounds good, especially if you play with a modern tone. Once you get up on the dial, the 2x10’s will fart out if you play with a muddy vintage tone. 0’s have limitations, I wish this was a 1x15 and it would be the perfect grab and go. But the 2x10 will get the job done. At gig level, you will not get the low end rumble of a 15” period. It does fart fart fart. If you play with a brighter modern tone, you are good to go. Why they did t make a head, and a choice of cabs is beyond me. My 2x12 katana guitar amp at 100w will dominate this bass amp. If thatbtells ya anything. Sure this is tailored for bass, but the MKII head and 2x12 guitar cab, swap the speaker with bass drivers, and you would be better off I think. I run a 1x15 ext cab and this thing rocks. So I believe they made a HUGE mistake not offering this with a traditional 15 inch. Also the wattage goes from stamd by to 1w to full on 160w! No in between. Whats up with that? The paint compared to the guitar amp isnt as quality and will scratch more easily. Anyway I think this amp is best suited for the 1x12 guitar combo. But it cant compete with the 2x12. And its all because of the speakers they chose to use. They are a joke. Fix that, and you have a powerful beast with so much versatility. I hope the MKII version comes in a head and cab and I hope they bring out a 15 inch cab. Or a 4x10 or at least a 2x12. But for studio practice small gigs. This will keep up and do what ya need. These are just read more things I dont like about it. I was hoping this would do studio to gig and in between and no, I still will need my big rig for big things. And it needs to drop a couple hundred. I paid 620… Now they are on sale for 650 and normal price is 680 extremely too expensive for what it is.
